Whats for lunch?

Chicken pesto pizza!

I haven't had much luck with pizza dough.

I went on a limb and bought whole wheat dough from 

Fresh and Easy

It turned out amazing!

used pesto for the sauce,

mozarrella

shredded chicken breast

spinach

basil from the garden

and mushroom.

Cook time: 12 mins!

A paradise in the desert.

We are so proud of our backyard, its amazing that things grow when you give them water!

I have also learned that the strongest and best plants are steamed from seeds or bulbs. Especially when it comes to our Ranunculus! they are like a whole foot taller than the ones we got at home depot! they are my little fireworks! flower explosions!

I just sat outside in the sun and didn't sweat....

Miracles DO happen!

grow little roots!

Here is our little garden! Clark put these "soil discs" in each egg carton hole, then added-Seeds+water+sun and a week later look how big our Veggie garden has grown ALREADY! We are starting them off in the egg carton and then transplanting them into a big planter box in our backyard. We are just about to make our planter boxes today (more pics to come!).
