I'm convinced that flowers create happiness......and then your dog takes it away.

i just potted some ranunculus last weekend. I love them, they brighten up our freshly pavered porch (courtesy of clark-a.k.a "heman"). Clark also planted vegetables, he was particularly excited about his cauliflower. So yesterday, my puppy (chloe) threw up at my feet. Couldn't figure out what she'd eaten. Clark comes home and says he found chloe in the garden. SHE completely uprooted and ate clark's cauliflower and half MY beautiful ranunculus!! She ate clarks favorite thing in the yard and MINE! argh! .....she is usually the better dog too!

(Back yard update: We are getting some really nice artificial grass, we just got some beautiful outdoor furniture, grape vines, orange, lime, grapefruit trees. Still on the look out for deals on blackberrry bushes, pomegranates, cypress trees, and ground cover but its coming along! Clark has done such a beautiful job already! Cant wait to host Garden parties!)
